Description
The Marlin Original Golden 39AS is a classic American lever-action rimfire with a long history as a trusted small-game, plinking and field companion. Chambered in .22 Short, Long and Long Rifle, it uses Marlin's Micro-Groove barrel and a tubular magazine under the barrel. Its smooth lever action, blued finish, gold-colored trigger and checkered stock give it the traditional look that lever-gun fans love.
This example comes with a Simmons scope mounted on a receiver-top rail. A hooded front sight is visible on the muzzle end, and a leather sling is shown in the photos. The checkered pistol-grip stock and forend give a secure hold. The lever action makes quick follow-up shots easy, and the .22 chambering keeps ammo costs low.
It suits squirrel and rabbit hunters, backyard plinkers, new shooters learning lever-action handling, and collectors who want a clean vintage Marlin. A rimfire like this is a practical choice for a first rifle and a fun one for experienced shooters.
Condition: Used. In the photos, the bluing looks even with no obvious rust, and the wood looks clean with no major damage. The leather sling shows light to moderate wear and creasing. A scope is mounted. Please review all photos closely.
